K-pop stars Girls’ Generation to play at Malaysia's F1 concert (The Star 11th March 2015)

No Lenny Kravitz? No problem as Girls’ Generation take over.
South Korean pop group Girls' Generation will be taking on the 2015 Formula 1 Malaysia Grand Prix post-race concert stage on March 29. This will be Girls’ Generation second time performing in Malaysia after its maiden show in 2012.

The eight-member group will be replacing American rocker Lenny Kravitz who has cancelled his scheduled performance. The post-race concert will be happening at the Helipad in Sepang International Circuit where the main act is expected to perform at 5.30pm.

Girls' Generation rose to fame in 2011 with the success of its infectious hit single Mr Taxi. In 2013, the group beat the likes of Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber to win Video Of The Year for the song I Got A Boy at the YouTube Music Awards.

This year, all eyes will be on the group as they overcome the departure of popular member Jessica Jung with the release of a highly-anticipated new single in April.
Access to the post-race concert and other activities such as the F1 carnival is available to those with 2015 Formula 1 Malaysia Grand Prix tickets. To purchase tickets priced from RM80 to RM1,770, check out www.sepangcircuit.com
